Tracy Lang has been a choral conductor and music teacher for more than twenty years.  Tracy was raised in a musical environment, a Colorado native from Boulder, and is currently the Music Director at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church in Thornton.
Tracy has been a music teacher in Jeffco and Littleton school districts, has a BFA from CU-Boulder in Voice Performance and Theatre Management.  While living in Texas, she conducted two groups that traveled to New York City performing Mozart’s Coronation Mass and Schubert’s Mass in G at Carnegie Hall.  Tracy also directed an elementary chime choir that performed at Lincoln Center, St. John’s the Divine Cathedral and the United Nations.
Tracy joined the Thornton Community Chorus (TCC) in the Fall of 2015, and says the chorus is a committed and dedicated group of people!

Frank Newton is the founder of TCC and continues to serve on the board of directors and as a chorus member.  Frank’s leadership and vision have been an integral part of TCC and we are honored to have his partnership ties to TASHCO, which strengthen the Chorus.  Frank’s passion for music began with his own music education as a youth, as a music educator, theater production and now to community arts and culture ventures such as TASCHO, Thornton Community Bank and, of course TCC.  Our hats off and heartfelt gratitude to TCC’s Director Emeritus!
